ANGARAI Awarded the IT Staff Augmentation Contract with Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA)

Washington, DC: ANGARAI has been awarded a five year Information Technology Staff Augmentation Contract by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). The contract spans one base year with four one-year option periods and has a ceiling value of $300 million. ANGARAI has been selected to provide value-added staff augmentation services in the areas of Information Technology Security, and Network & Communications.

This is not ANGARAI’s first association with the Transit Authority. Earlier engagements with WMATA have focused on Program Management Services and Governance & Oversight Services as part of the Authority’s Capital Improvement Program (CIP) to bring its assets to a "state of good repair" through effective planning, management and execution of the Infrastructure Renewal Program (IRPG).

Under this IT Staff Augmentation Contract ANGARAI will provide the following services to WMATA:

  • Cyber Security Design
  • Cyber Security Risk Assessment
  • Cyber Security Operations
  • Cyber Security Threat Planning Applications Security
  • Information Security Program Management
  • Solutions Engineering
  • Helpdesk Technical Management
  • Infrastructure Project Management
