Annual Maryland-India Business Roundtable Gala and Award Ceremony, an event held at Greenbelt, MD on November 20th 2008 Angarai International, Inc was awarded “Small Business Of the year Award”.

The Maryland-India Business Roundtable, Inc is an autonomous, nonprofit and public private partnership established to promote business relations between state of Maryland and India.

Governor of Maryland Mr. O’Malley delivered the keynote address. Governor O’Malley remarks focused on strengthening the ties between the state of Maryland and India, the importance of being part of global e economy, and developing new opportunities in the life science and information technology fields.

Governor O’Malley concluded his remarks with his thoughts on how Maryland and India can continue to strengthen and build trade partnerships.

“We believe that India presents Maryland with some of our greatest opportunities for developing new trade partnerships and attracting new direct investments across a variety of sectors: the biosciences, pharmaceutical, health care management, information technology, engineering services, aerospace, defense and so forth.”
