Apart from the business side, Mr. Subramanian is involved in various benevolent activities including Hindu Religion and Indian Music & Art. He is the Founder and Management Trustee of a not-for-profit organization - Angarai Foundation. The foundation focuses on various altruistic, charitable and educative activities related to classical music and art from the Indian sub-continent by organizing and conducting cultural programs in North America. He regularly writes and publishes articles on Hindu religion, philosophy and South Indian classical Carnatic music. He not only organizes concerts but also reviews and publishes articles about the music concerts.

Mr. Subramanian is a corporate member of the celebrated Sri Venkateshwara Temple, Pittsburgh, PA and committee member of the renowned Sri Siva Vishnu Temple, Lanham, MD.
